I believe that one can be more creative and talented where he really belongs. Unfortunately, I have heard and seen a lot of boys and girls who have traveledto some foreign countries – according to scholarships they have gotten – andthey have accomplished a huge success and achievement in many different fields. Is not it weird? Is not it sad? How we are smart and creative just when we areout sides our home!! There must be a reason, right?
We asa whole nation- living together under the same circumstances facing the samethreats –deserve this amount of knowledge and progress in order to make ourlives better and healthy.
I amone-hundred percent sure that our country can pave the way for many people toclimb the highest top of knowledge and education. But here lies the problem. Most of our schools follow the same poor old strategy. The story begins insideevery classroom. Cleverness and talent can do no good for any student. It is ALLabout MARKS; it is ALL about: who can make the highest SCORE? A student can berecognized and well treated as long as he/she get the highest mark and memorizewell. Other than that, a student’s presence makes no difference. Our schoolscan’t offer students any chance or open any doors for them. Our schools can’thelp the students to decide what kind of future they want to live.
Forthose who have achieved a lot, I am really proud of them. Yet, we have to learnhow to stimulate such talents and adopt them in return. We are not homelesspeople. We have our own land, our own dignity and we want to live proudly wherewe really belong.
Hereare some of the achievements I could collect:
1- Saleh Aifan –Saudi student in London- has invented Genetic mutations in Bunya Virus one ofthe most dangerous viruses.
